Do I need a special One Care Back up disc or will a dvd disc work? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I started to back up as On CAre suggested and used a CD-R not a dvd disc, could that be why it told me to use a One Care Disc or do i have to buy One Crae discs? Thank you. I am learning!!

  • Any blank recordable CD or DVD that usually works on your computer's burner will be perfect for backup media. Avoid RW type discs and name brands tend to be more reliable than cheap ones in most cases.

  • If you used a CDR (not an RW) and backup complained about the blank disc, make sure that it is blank.

If you need help with backup, you can contact support.
