  • Hello brcidd,

    Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 103 Blocked VLK
    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 103 Blocked VLK
    OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
    Signed By: Microsoft
    Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-230-1

    Your Dell Latitude D531 laptop's current installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is a Volume Licensing installation, and the installation was done with a now-blocked Volume Licensing Product Key (VLK).

    Blocked VLK means that the product key used to install Office Enterprise 2007 was, at one time, a genuine product key originally issued to a business, educational, or government entity.  However, in cooperation with the original keyholder, the key has been blocked by Microsoft from further use, and that could be for many reasons: it was leaked to the internet, lost, or stolen from the entity; the entity no longer has a valid VL agreement in effect with Microsoft; or Microsoft has noticed much more use of the key that the agreement allows for.

    If your use of the volume licensing software and this blocked product key is in conjunction with a business, educational, or governmental entity, please contact your IT department for further information.

    Individual conusmers should never receive Volume Licensing software when purchasing stand-alone software packages, or when purchasing a computer with Microsoft software already on the computer.  If you are an individual consumer and purchased this laptop with the understanding that you were supposed to receive a Genuine retail license for Office, then you did not get what you paid for.  Your options at this point include returning to the seller to demand the genuine Microsoft Office that you paid for, and reading the FAQ to see if you qualify for participation in the Office Genuine Offer:
    http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC

    If you would like to participate in the Office Genuine Offer, please follow the prompts that the Notifier Utility is displaying to "Learn More."
