Live Messenger will not minimize :( RRS feed

    I am using Windows 7.  And rather annoyed with Windows Nessenger.  All the other IM programs like Yahoo, and AOL, when you click on the icon in the taskbar it will minimize the program or you can close it but will stay connected but as a small icon on taskbar.

    Am I missing something with Windows Messenger or is it just behind the times and making it a user friendly program?
