off topic - can't open a visio file using visio reader RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hello. A client sent me some Visio files to view plus a link to the MS site for a free viewer. I downloaded and installed the viewer. When I double click his .FLP file I get an error message that says "Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2003 (English) - Command Line option syntax error. Type Command /? for help." I'm running Vista Home Premium. I've uninstalled the downloaded viewer program via the control panel + programs method, and I've deleted the saved installation package. Reinstalling from the wehbsite yeilds the same error results. I've tried to find the viewer program to open it first (then open the FLP file from inside the program) but can't find any .exe file. Not even using search. But it does appear on my list of programs available for uninstallation, so it must be there somewhere, right? What do you recommed? Thanks.
