How to use LCDS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Everyone,

I was trying to create a power point presentation for a new-comer who joins in our team, when I came accross LCDS.

I have installed the software on my vista machine without any difficulty.

Is there any manual available how to use it and how to develop a new courseware using LCDS?

    Thanks in advance.

    Sudeepta.

  • Hi,

I would recommend using the Help section of LCDS.  It is a great resource when you are getting started with LCDS.  You will also be able to download LCDS sample courses here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/training/lcds.aspx#tab2.  These courses will help you understand what a course in LCDS looks like.

    Thanks,

    Stephanie

  • Hi Strphanie,

Thanks for your response. Can you tell me how to create a multi-choice question using LCDS? Also, is there any option for voting using LCDS, just to know the users experience level in certain technology?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

Under the "read" tab in LCDS, you can select "Multiple Choice."  This will pull up a Multiple Choice template.

Unfortunately, right now there is no voting functionality in LCDS.

    Thanks,

    Stephanie

  • How do you create a multiple response multiple choice question?  Check boxes, not radio buttons...
