Changing sort order order clears "My Forums Threads" context

Question
-
If I choose "My Forums Threads", then change the sort order (for example, to "Most Recent Threads", or even just "Most Recent Post"), it loses its awareness of the fact that it was viewing My Forums Threads, and instead shows me all forums.
It takes me to a url like this: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?filter=alltypes&sort=firstpostdesc&brandIgnore=true
I can't see any way to view my forums threads by most recent thread except to hack the URL by navigating to "My Forums Threads" and then manually appending &sort=firstpostdesc onto the URL.
I expect this would likely be an easy fix to the forum software. Can it be fixed please?
