off topic - Set screen resolution for all user profiles for secondary displays RRS feed

Hello.  I'm hoping someone will be able to give me some ideas.  We have all of our Labs set in GP to hide the settings tab on displays.  The hope is that this will prevent unnecessary calls from people that do not know how to readjust display settings.  The issue with this is the primary display is fine, but when someone hooks up a projector that was not originally in the classroom design, it comes up as a secondary display and by default goes to 800x600, which is an issue with some of the material professors need to present.  Is there a way to set in windows the default resolution to 1024x768 for any display device?  In the registry there is HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG/SYSTEM/CURRENT CONTROL SET/CONTROL/VIDEO/, but there are several sub keys under this and they appear to be unique to a system.  I wasn't sure if there was one particular location in the registry or another way someone could suggest?
