Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine

Question
-
I recently got an HP Pavillion dv6000 from a friend and it has the message of "Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine" on the desktop. When I try to activate windows I am able to download the Windows Activation update but when I try to install I get this error.
I have no problem buying a genuine version of Windows but I want to know for sure if this version is usable or not.
Thank you for your help!

I finally managed to read your picture :)You’ve been using a Registry Cleaner – probably WiseFixer.UNDO anything it’s done, then uninstall it – such programs are pure snake-oil, that produce impressive numbers and no benefits at the risk of crippling your system. If that doesn’t fix the problem, use System Restore to get back to a time the system worked properly. If THAT doesn’t fix the problem, post an MGADiag report. To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )Once saved, run the tool.Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report. To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.- **in your own thread**, pleasePlease also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine, but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
