  • How to become a MCP...?

You need to take an exam from Microsoft (and partners I assume?) to get a certification. I'm currently working towards my first certification.

If you are new to IT, you would go for the MTA exam. If you are experienced in technology, then going straight to the MCSA would probably be your best bet.

You can find more information at: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification-overview.aspx

P.S. Sorry I have given the poster any wrong information.
