assembly must be registered in isolation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I am using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 online. I have a solution package in one zip file which is actually a on-premises customization of crm. It contain some plugins, but when I am trying to import it to my online CRM a error is occured:assembly must be registered in isolation.

As per some article, I have found that I need one Deployment Manager role based user to do this, but in the security role list I didn't found this role.

Anyone can help me to know how to do this?

    Thanx in advance.

    Regards,

    Ayan Choudhury

  • Deploy Manager is not a role in CRM Web Application, you add it throught deployment management in crm app server.

I think in CRM Online you haven't access to it, and you can only register isolated  (sandboxed) plugin. For register this sandboxed plugin you must be system administrator.

You can't run plugin outside sandbox (a controlled/restricted/secured environment to preserve CRM Server from "malicious" code) in Dynamics CRM 2011 Online.

Try selecting 'Sandbox' in step 3 of the plugin registration tool when registering your plugins.
