CRM 2011 and outlook Configuration issue RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am trying to connect the cm with outlook using configuration wizard. I entered the URL of server and Click on test connection it is working fine. but When I click on OK button I get below exception

    Below is exception from log file

    Exception : Server was unable to process request.    at Microsoft.Crm.MapiStore.DataStore.WaitInitialized()
       at Microsoft.Crm.Application.Outlook.Config.OutlookConfigurator.InitializeMapiStoreForFirstTime()
       at Microsoft.Crm.Application.Outlook.Config.OutlookConfigurator.Configure(IProgressEventHandler progressEventHandler)
       at Microsoft.Crm.Application.Outlook.Config.ConfigEngine.Configure(Object stateInfo)
    17:34:25|  Error| Exception : Server was unable to process request.

    Please suggest how to resolve this issue

  • Hi,

    Please try again after updating the User's Security role with ‘Write’ privileges on User Settings. Also, make sure Outlook is opened at least once and is working fine before you run the outlook configuration wizard for MS CRM.
