CrmConfigurationProvider not recognized as a valid type RRS feed

  • Any ideas on how to resolve the below error I am getting in my CRM plugin?

  • It looks like you're using the assembly. There shouldn't be any need to use this in a plugin; instead you can get the IOrganizationService instance from the context that is passed to the plugin. Normally, the only sdk assembly that you'd need to reference in a plugin is microsoft.xrm.sdk

  • Ok, will have a look at that, have inherited the code base and the EntityExtensions methods (within Microsoft.Xrm.Client) is used throughout the plugin code and they were running without issue up until recently so strange that its only started happening?

    The value 'Microsoft.Xrm.Client.Configuration.CrmConfigurationProvider, Microsoft.Xrm.Client' is not recognized as a valid type or is not of the type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Client.Configuration.CrmConfigurationProvider
