I have two Windows 10 PCs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just recently I had to purchase a New Windows PC so I could house SQL Server 2017 Developer's edition(free).

However, I ran into a problem. Microsoft has an account for my older PC where I write my applications. My New PD will be where I house SQL Server 2017.

My problem is: I can't have two PCs with different passwords on my one account.

    How do we fix this?

    Thanks,

  • I would ask here:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-security

Click on "Participate" at the top of the page and select "Ask a Question".

Edit: I should add, if you are using a Microsoft account (MSA) to log into the first Windows 10 PC, then I would expect you to use the same account on the second Windows 10 PC, with the same password.

  • What type of account are you refering to? An MSDN type account or something else?
