  • Can the OCS Web Access component be installed on the Edge Server?

  • Unfortuantely no - the Edge server must be installed as a single-use server for the purpose of the OCS environment only. When installed, hardening of the server occurs which would be compromised in order for the web services to be used. In addition, the CWA server must communicate with the AD directly, something you would not want the DMZ server to do (as it is not even a member of the domain).
