Jabra GN 9330 USB RRS feed

  • Some Jabra GN 9330 USB wireless headsets do not work with OCS 2007. Well I found out the answer as to why and wanted to share so other could avoid the issue of getting units that will not work.

The deal is that you need to make sure you order part number 9327-509-305 and not 9327-509-105. While it is not clear on the GN website at this time the OC compatible 9330 USB is going to be called the GN 9330 USB OC. According to GN as of January 2008 the two distributors carrying the GN 9330 USB OC part number 9327-509-305 are Jenne, 800-422-6191 and IngramMicro, 800-456-8000. If you call Jenne to order, ask for Brian Rickel and tell them that Joy sent you (our purchasing agent).

I am not 100% sure about the two other GN OC compatible products but so far all of the GN 2000 USB wired headsets we have received have worked like a charm and in Device Manager even show up as OC. If you happen to get an older model that doesn't work with Vista, they appear to have a downloadable firmware upgrade on their site.

    Hope this helps.
