Any plan to stop the massive spam posts ?

Such as http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/csharpgeneral/thread/652aa27b-c782-4cbe-9eb1-d550c84e5f5d etc..
Please do something about that... It impairs forum usability...

Besides tagging the threads as abusive, someone needs to request that the user be banned, in this case:

Report the user using a link on this Wiki page:
If the user isn't banned, they will continue. When I report a user I provide a link to their profile activity, which shows no legitimate activity.

I've noticed the increase of spam in Visual C# subforum, don't know about other targets.
I was wondering, is reporting all such posts as spam helping moderators at all? Because I report all such threads.
Why on earth would anyone spam C# forum with such links. Have they uncovered a significant hole in the MSDN forums and are merely exploiting it?

I suspect this is ultimately just to improve their ranking on search engines for those "keywords" so that their phone is found. Perhaps the forum app could have some kind of threshold to prevent a single account to post too much often.

It works (they deleted 2 or 3 accounts I reported) but it's getting worse and worse as new accounts are created frequently now. I don't see any other way than to add some defensive measure to prevent mass posting.

Yes, perhaps there needs to be some filter based on the thread topic. Say, if the thread title contains "girls" and "call", most likely it's a SPAM.
But what if I am writing a program that help to automatically determine the gender of baby chicks by how they peck at a certain color spot? What if I have to post samples of my subroutines and they tell me to make a change and then call Girls( Size int, PeckResponse int )? WHAT THEN?!?!
.
(Sorry, couldn't resist)
