Suggestion: accented vowels, ¿ and ¡ like Palm OS RRS feed

  • Question

  • It's really hard to type in Spanish with this system. With my Palm Treo 680 (Palm OS) you could type an "a", hit the alt key followed by the space bar and you would get an accented "á. Type a ? (option key n) followed by the alt key and the space bar or another letter and you would get an upside down "¡"

You can get these characters in Windows Mobile but the only way I've found to do it is to use the soft keyboard and that is very slow and painful.

  • OK, so there is an easy way to accent vowels and access the upside down ¿ and ¡. It's just the opposite of Palm OS.

Press Alt then the vowel followed by the space bar and you will get an accented vowel per correct Spanish.

Press Alt, Option ? followed by a space and you get ¿.

Press Alt, Option ! and you get ¡

Just going to take some getting used to.
