Windows Vista validation componant RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought a new Hewlett packard Pavillion PC a6130n and it works just fine BUT I cannot download any files from the Microsoft site. I can get files from download.com and about anywhere else just fine. At the site, I am shown the file properties and stuff but when I click on the button again to validate windows vista, I get a window open that says I need to install the genuine windows validation componant. I have searched and searched and I have no idea of how to install this componant. If you can help then please do. I've checked and my windows is registered (I think)
