Where is my Windows 7 Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • I purchased a retail version of windows 7 pro 64 bit through the student offer. I have run the upgrade advisor and it says 32 or 64 bit versions should be totally compatible. However I can't install the OS - it simply freezes very near the start with a nice blue background and a movable mouse but nothing actually hapenning. I have tried to contact microsoft support but they need my product key and I can't see it anywhere on my COA. All I have is a cardboard slipcase with the Win7DVD in and the COA stuck to it - and despite a few numbers being printed on the COA not one seems to be the key - can anyone tell me where the key is printed on the COA so I can submit it to microsoft and get support about the installation?
