Error 0002 means that the installed failed to initialize. That might mean that it was unable to do so because it was blocked by something else or because the installer was corrupt.

What I done is uninstalled the one care program,then download the free trial and then you can put your sub.# in after that.They have it on file if you got one ,but walmart sells it for 39.00 online is 50.00 but I must say it is the best you can get.You will never know its on your pc.Ive had it for 3 yrs on 3 pc s.Give that a try let me know if it works OK.Thanks,DavidFriday, November 21, 2008 5:06 PM

Windows Live OneCare Upgrade Fails After OneCare Installation
After installing OneCare you immediately received an action item indicating that a OneCare upgrade failed. You MUST save this program to your computer before you run it. Thats the update # it wouldnt paste the update and uninstall any othet protection you got even microsoft firewall.I just wanted to help.
