Service Pack 2 Blue Screen

Question
-
I have fought with this for quite some time and we have a desktop computer that has a more serious Blue Screen of Death issue however my concern is my laptop. Every time I install SP2 I get the BSOD at start up. I end up doing a system restore just to get the laptop functioning again so I can work. After searching for the solution for weeks I stumbled across a post somewhere that directed me here. I hope I did this right, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is what I got from the Windows tab after running the MGAD:

KristiH,
The mgadiag report is showing that both your installation of XP Home and Office 2003 on your Compaq laptop are Genuine. :-)
The problem you are experiencing is almost certainly NOT related to the WGA Validation or Notification programs, so therefore it is off topic to this forum.
May I suggest visiting a general Windows XP help forum such as the one in my signature, or the Microsoft user-to-user support forums http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&cat=en_US_91a15a1e-b269-4291-b6b4-dc2d504ce9ef&lang=en&cr=US, for further assistance?
You may also want to review the content at hp.com that pertains to your specific computer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?rule=30550&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=421128&lang=en
When you do post in other forums, when asking for troubleshooting help regarding a BSOD, it's always best to provide the complete STOP ERROR codes. For example, if you reported the STOP ERROR code of 0x000000FC, a helper could direct you to the following MS Knowledgebase article that contains a possible solution: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;878474

Hey Kristi :-)
I would like to piggy back off Dan and provide some additional information. Contact HP/Compaq technical support for assistance as well. Since your software is OEM-SLP they can provide you with technical support. Here is their website http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/contact/phone_assist.html#section1 . You can find the number here.
Take care and we are glad to provide you with assistance.
