    Difference between Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft online?

    can you please suggest on this

    we are having 300 partners and need to access the 60 users

    for this which one is best option to select it.

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online runs "in the cloud". No difference other than the words.

    You could run CRM as an on-premises installation on your own private cloud (eg Azure) instead, which would be cloud but not CRM Online - you would be totally responsible for the CRM installation, updates etc, whereas CRM Online all that is done for you.

  • Sure CRM Online takes care of maitaining the server, doing backup and doing updates, but that can also be seen as a bad thing. First many complain CRM online is slow. You don't have direct access to the database. 

    The company I work for is right now working on moving away from CRM online to an on premises installation. There are pros and cons when it comes to this subject.
