    Hi, I first loaded a 320GB SATA disk and installed WHS. And then  I added another 320GB SATA and three more 160GB IDE harddisk to bring it to 1 TB. The problem is, every time I reboot my WHS it doesnot know which disk has OS. I am hitting F9 and telling which one to use for OS. I try everything throug BIOS and some how the information is not getting store there. The BIOS allways shows in this order

    160GB PIRMARY,IDE
    160GB SECONDARY,IDE
    160GB PIRMARY,IDE
    320GB SATA (Where OS is stored)
    320GB SATA

    How can I solve this problem? Do I need to upgrade the BIOS? Please help.

    It sounds as though, when you first installed WHS, your one and only disk wasn't connected to your 'disk 0' motherboard connection. It now really depends on your BIOS. If you can choose which disk to boot from, I would be surprised, most systems only let you choose Disk-DVD-Floppy etc.

    If you have any disk duplication software, you might be able to transfer your OS to your Primary IDE, it could be worth trying, otherwise I'm afraid a re-installation onto the correct disk will be required.
