Unresponsive Lookup RRS feed

  • I have a lookup in CRM 2011.

    The lookup opens fine when I open it but when I select a value from it, it doesn't populate the field but leaves the field blank.

    This has previously worked before and is only causing problems for some users.

    I'm wondering is it browser or pc specific.

    Anyone any ideas?

  • The problem turned out to be a Micrsoft Windows up date KB3008923

    It was preventing dialog boxes from functioning properly.

    I removed it from users pc's and the problem is resolved.

  • It might be user specific. Check security roles and users permissions on Append and AppendTo for related entities

  • Some users with the same security roles are having no problems.

    So it doesn't seem to specific to the User security roles or permissions.

  • Does the lookup show a picture when you select it?. Then it might be that your lookup might be missing the name field.

  • Hi,

    Are these users using chrome? can you please check browser version difference for user facing issue? Can user try from the CRM server once?
