How will sharing my documents folder work?

Question
-
Hi,
I currently have my documents folder (c:\users\jamie\documents) on device1 as a Live Mesh folder. I only have one machine supported by Live Mesh right now but that will chage just as soon as you release a client for Windows Home Server (that will be device2.
Hence, how am I going to be able to sync the "Documents" folder on those 2 devices? If I try and sync c:\users\jamie\documents from device1 to c:\documents and settings\jamie\my documents\ on device2, will Mesh be clever enough to realise that (e.g.) a folder called "my pictures" on device1 should be considered the same as "my pictures" on device2 or will there be collisions?
Hopefully I've explained this fully enough. I foresee a problem here if you guys haven't allowed for it.

Hi Jamie,
Live Mesh will be clever enough to recognize that those two folders are the same. However if the files underneath have the same names but are actually different then you will have collisions.

Hi Jamie,
If there is a conflict between two files you will presented with a dialog box which will allow you to save one of the files to another location. The file conflict resolution dialog, as well as how Live Mesh handles conflicts, is something we're definitely working to improve right now, though.

OK thanks ben. And how do we resolve those collisions?

Don't have different files with the same name and there will be no collisionsThursday, June 5, 2008 2:09 PM -
