  • Hi,

Microsoft gives lots of opportunities when it comes to students. These include contests like Student Rockstar, Web Rockstar, Imagine Cup, Student2Business. It also includes internships with Microsoft (i.e. at India Development Center - Hyderabad, Global Technical Support Center - Bangalore, Microsoft IT - Bangalore). Trainings are mainly conducted by Microsoft employees or Microsoft Student Partners

For Internships --- Microsoft will publish requirements (if any) for internships.

For Trainings ---  As I said before, trainings can be done by Microsoft Employees or Microsoft Student Partners or Microsoft's Most Valuable Professionals. For that matter please contact Microsoft Student Partner in or in your nearby college.

These are the best ways to go ahead with internships or trainings conducted by Microsoft.

  • Hi,

You can attend many Microsoft events to get to know about latest technologies from Microsoft, like TechMela, MSDN Dev Days, User Group Sessions.

    OR

You can ask your local Microsoft Student Partner to conduct special training in your institute.

  • Hi,

There are some eligibility criterias when it comes to internship, however, you can attend any Microsoft event (like TechMela) or any User Group or Community event (like DevCon, User Group meetings) or any Campus Club event (like sessions, Hands-On-Labs, Launch Events) without any restrictions.

Although, you may need to register before for the event.

For more information you can visit http://www.microsoft.com/india/community
