    I get the "less than 5GB add another drive" message and check free space and it shows more than 300GB free.  WHS console shows storage balanced.  Does that 300GB exist?  Why the conflicting messages?  Thanks for any help.

    This could be a function of what space is available on what disk. Could you give us some more info, re what hard drives you have and the sizes of them.The 300GB is probably correct, but maybe one disk is nearly full, while other(s) are not. WHS doesn't balance drives to have equal space used on every drive.

    As Colin says, more info about your disks would help. You could grab a copy of WHS Disk Management from the dev forum and check which disk is full; it could be that the backup database is filling up one of the disks.
