WHS PP2 Media Center Connector - password invalid

Question
-
I've just bought a HP EX485, installed the Power Pack 2.
Everything works except the Windows Media Center Connector that I'm trying to run on my laptop Vista Ultimate x86. I get "the password is incorrect".
By watching the process and connection, it connects on the port 55000 to the home server.
The authentication is done properly in the security event log on the home server from a user Mc-<name of my laptop>.
I tried wirelessly and wired, no chance still this error...
Anybody else has this issue?Thursday, March 26, 2009 6:15 PM

Is there any log file to check why the password is said invalid?
The Home connector works fine, it is the Media Center Connector from the Start > Programs that cannot connect successfully to the Home Server.
I'm checking on this. Once I know which log to check, I will get back to you. In the meantime, can you file a bug on Connect?
Thank you

That is part of the issue I am seeing as well. My problem is outlined at the bottom of the following link.

What does the connector installer say in the license agreemement page when installing? Mine says PP!. I'm thinking I've got a corrupted or invalid connector.

The EULA will reference Power Pack 1 when installing. We are not changing the existing EULA as PP2 is a supplimental update to a product you already have.
Thanks!

I am having the exact issue. Vista Ultimate client, all other access works fine just get a password error when trying to connect. I've tried changing passwords and everything else.
