  • Good Morning Doug,

    Thank you for visiting the Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program forum. Windows XP is genuine. The problem your having with downloading Media Player 11 falls outside the support scope for the WGA Forum. I suggest posting your question to the “Discussions in Windows XP General” or the “Discussions in Windows XP Newsgroups” here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&lang=en&cr=US

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx

    If you should have other non-WGA questions please visit our communities/articles/support webpage for helpful information:

    http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/support.mspx

    Also I noticed Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 was installed using a "Keygen'd" Volume Licensing Key "VLK". As a rule, VL editions should not be sold to individual consumers. Businesses, schools and governments normally use VL editions for flexibility in installing many computers.  Doug if this is a corporate system please ask your systems administrator to logon to the eOpen site (https://eopen.microsoft.com/EN/default.asp) and confirm what your company’s assigned VLK. If this computer is not a corporate system please uninstall Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. Below is an extract I have taken to share with you.

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK
    OGA Version: Registered, 1.7.111.0
    Signed By: Microsoft

    You have a couple options available. First you should have been given the option to "Get Genuine" when you failed OGA validation. Here you may purchase a Windows XP and OGA Kit from Microsoft and become genuine. Next you can take the software back where you made the original purchase and either request a genuine copy of Office or return your monies. Next I would recommend for you to file a piracy report by following the directions @ http://www.microsoft.com/piracy. Please locate "Reporting Piracy" in the upper left corner.

    Thank you,

    Stephen
