How do I get rid of puresafetyhere?  It seems to have hijacked my browser.  A complete pain.  Perhaps more dangerous?  It also seems to direct me to antispywareshield.com.  Any idea of how I get grid of this mess?  Windows Live One Care didn't seem to find and distroy it?  I need help

Follow the instructions in this post, http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=662566&SiteID=2, to report a virus that is not cleaned by OneCare and to get help in removal.

  • Did you get rid of this problem?  I have the same problem!  It has highjacked my browser.  I attempted to do as Steve suggests above, and I cannot figure out how to "drag the virus" to the zipped compressed file.  I tried to block it and can't do that either.  McAfee doesn't seem to block it either!  HELP!
