WinXP Product Activation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I recently purchased a reconditioned laptop from an online reseller (Lappies.co.uk).

It appears that they have re-installed WinXP pro using an OEM Disk, and now the serial number on the bottom of the laptop will not activate. I am reluctant to purchase another copy of XP as the machine has a valid OEM licence?

I've run the diagnostics - Here are the results:

I would appreciate some assistance as the reseller is not responding to my emails / calls.

    Thanks in advance
