  • How do I save my voice in songsmith when I am singing in parts and I like what I just sang but need to continue with new added vocals

  • Unfortunately, to keep things simple, Songsmith does not allow to you record starting in the middle of your song.  We usually think of a Songsmith "song" as really a "verse" or a "chorus", something you're likely to work on all at once.  If you want to put those pieces together into a larger song, that's when we would recommend saving your Songsmith songs and assembling them in a separate tool that's better-suited for editing whole songs.  We've made sure that Songsmith songs can be exported cleanly, as MIDI and/or audio, to work well with other tools.

  • As usual programmers start out short and upgrade later.

    It would be best if Microsoft had a free program in mind to test/practice enabling more features like your asking.
