Problem with system start up RRS feed

  • Question

hi!  I am having trouble when I start up my computer - a search folder appears first with nothing in it.  I can close it without problem, but its always there when I start.  Then, then first time I try to access Internet Explorer, Yahoo will come up, but I can't really access it.  I can't close it like normal and have to control-alt-delete it.  After that, I can open without problem.  Any ideas?  I read and thought it might by a system32 issue, but i don't really know enough to understand that.  I can't find my windows xp disc to re-install it.   I have no idea what to do and would appreicate any help!

I suggest you post this question in the Windows XP forums as this is the Windows Home Server forum and you are more likely to get the answer to your question there.
