Windows 2008 Server - CRM 4.0 Product Activation RRS feed

  • Hello all,

    I have done a fresh crm 4.0 install on a windows 2008 Server, without problems at all. But, when i try to activate the product, it always says to me there isn't Internet connection. But, the internet connection works, and i have no limits to go outside on Internet. I don't use Proxy Server or any filter. The required fields of the registration form are all written, but no activation work...

    How i can debug the problem? Or what can be a solution? BTW, naturally the license is good.... I am a Microsoft Registered Member, with valid subscriptio to the Action Pack.

  • We did an install today and got the same behaviour. We can browse web pages through IE but can't reigster. My guess at this point is a bug in rollup 12.

  • Hi Claudio,

    have you checked the log directory? under Documents and Settings\[Installation user]\AppData\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs

    There is regular a crmreg.log

    in crmreg.log i have this error "HTTP 405: Method Not Allowed"... Is a problem of the microsoft server ? Any workaround?
