Genuine Advantage? Not so sure! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Why do I go from a VALID XP License one day to an INVALID XP license the next, just because I choose NOT to install one of Microsoft's oh so convenient updates?

How is it that my VALID XP license, which I've been using for several YEARS, is suddenly INVALID FOR MY REGION?  Please explain to me how that is possible!

You have my information - you're famous for being able to capture that information - and I WANT MY VALIDITY RESTORED ASAP!  This is another example of corporate bull ____ run amok!

If I wanted to upgrade to Vista or Windows 7, I would!  I don't need Microsoft dictating to me WHEN I should do so!
