According to your MGA Report, your PC is running a non-genuine, Volume License version of Windows XP Professional that once belonged to an organization residing in a certain geographical region of the world. You'll need to replace it with a genuine edition of Microsoft Windows, such as a "full version" of Windows 7 Professional. Unfortunately, Windows XP is no longer available.

Thanks for this response.
I have been using this operating system for the best part of 4 years, with WGA installed. Throughout this period Microsoft have confirmed, through WGA, that it accepts this as a genuine Micrsoft installation. That makes it genuine. I also have the original source disk and the original genuine Microsoft authentication key.
Either WGA was in error before, or it is in error now. I strongly suspect it is in error now.
Shelling out money because WGA has ceased working is not an attractive solution.
So what other alternatives are there?Friday, December 7, 2012 11:18 AM -
Many times, Keys are Geoblocked after the Key is published on the internet but the owner needs to keep the Key activate on their systems for a limited use = this can happen at any time.
It's possible that this Key was only recent blocked.
Volume license Keys are NEVER for sale to individuals - they require a minimum purchase of 5 licenses, and are upgrades rather than full licenses.
