Urgent Message - OneCare cannot install a required update on my PC RRS feed

  • Message that prompts each time I start-up my computer:

    URGENT MESSAGE - OneCare is missing a required update.

    OneCare could not install a required update on this PC, which puts this PC at risk

    from Internet threats.  To fix this, try restarting your computer. If you receive this message again, click Help.

     

    I have followed these steps for the past 4 days and continue to receive this message.

     

    Also, an icon pops up that I have Install Missing Updates.  I clicked this icon to do a quick install and it is unable to install the updates.

     

    Please let me know what I can do to resolve this urgent message.

  • I've moved your post to the Update topic folder as your PC is apparently unable to download and install the latest update that was deployed late last week. If you are on dial-up, please leave the PC connected for several hours to let the download and install complete. Otherwise see this:
