Ran the diagnostic tool on the laptop. This didn't start until after I added Firefox... Any suggestions. My version was purchased at Best Buy, and had worked for months until this message popped up.

Your PC is too old to support an OEM_SLP License for Windows 7 - it was produced up to 6 months prior to the release to manufacture of Win7. The BIOS indicates the licensed version of Windows is actually Vista. For which version and edition of Windows is it licensed, according to the COA sticker on the case??

Just some supplementary information. When Noel says your PC is too old for the OEM SLP Windows 7 license, he means that an OEM SLP license are only used on computers that have been pre-installed with Windows from the factory. Since your computer was built before Windows 7 was released, it couldn't have come from the factory with an OEM SLP license for Windows 7.
