Is MESH dead?

Question

Hi,
I really like MESH and the potential it could deliver but developments etc seem to have stopped!? What's happening? Should I give up and move to dropbox et al?
If I've got it wrong please let me know what the expected release schedule is? Has the project been downgraded?
Please can you keep us informed! :-)
Thanks,
John

Check out other threads in the forum. No, it isn't dead.
Rumors abound, but nothing official has been announced. Microsoft won't tell us plans for releases, but the information in the rumor mill is that we'll see a new beta for Windows Live services and programs in the next few months. Live Mesh is part of this, but in what form, we don't yet know.

If it is not dead, is it in semi-permanent Beta, kind of like Gmail was? This thread kind of reminds me of a scene in The Holy Grail - "I'm not dead yet!"Tuesday, April 20, 2010 4:38 PM

the information in the rumor mill is that we'll see a new beta for Windows Live services and programs in the next few months.
From what I've been seeing on sites like LiveSide.net, some features could release to Beta as soon as June 7th and June 21st also sticks in my mind as a possible release date. These are part of a product called "Windows Live Essentials 2011" so I'd imagne it'd leave Beta in time for the new year.
It seems that June is going to be a busy month for Windows Live product news.
