upgrade MCSE 2000 to 2003 and then to 2008 in mid of next year RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

i have mcse in 2000 ( with exam number 219, 029, 028, 217, 216, 215, 210). i have to upgrade my mcse 2000 to 2008 and i don’t think there is direct upgrade path for this. can some one please shed some light on this, do have to start over again or eve it is better to start over instead following upgrade path,

Even if i were to take upgrade path from 2000 to 2003 and then to 2008 how many exams i have to pass for this?

  • Hi,

I think you should start over again because if you will get up gradation path than you have to pass more exams and if you will start from start 2008 than you will get 2 different paths which are as under.

    Server Admin Track.

    01. 70-640

    02. 70-642

    03. 70-646

    Enterprise Admin Track

    01. 70-640

    02. 70-642

    03. 70-643

    04. 70-647

    05. 70-680

So this will be the better for you to get MCITP on Windows Server 2008 than the up gradation from 2000.
