How should suggestions be made to revise a thread's title?

  • Unfortunately, the only way to communicate with moderators is to report as abusive. I would select off-topic and explain in the comment. Good titles help get answers.

  • I'd agree, marking abuse with a short explanation is probably the best solution. Although if the thread has scrolled to another page it's less likely to work.

  • A moderator can filter on threads where a post is marked abusive, but I admit I almost never do myself.

And if a post is marked as spam, I have decided it is best to leave it for the forum admins. Only they can delete all posts by a spammer in bulk, regardless of the forum. And only they can ban the spammer's account.
