I am unable to purchase subscription with a visa gift card. Do I need to get on the phone to do this with a gift card?

Discussing this issue with a few others, we believe that the issue is that the Gift Card may be restricted for use in that you are trying to purchase a subscription. The Gift Card expires in a short term. Your workaround would be to use the Gift Card in a store to purchase a retail copy.

Interesting question. I'm not sure I know the answer, but it may be a limitation of the gift card. On the other hand, what are you encountering? Is it rejecting the purchase or is it looping back to ask for payment. If the latter, it may be as simple as making sure that your contact information doesn't have any punctuation in it. Dashes, apostrophes, and the like can cause the form to be rejected.

I think it sounds like there is a problem validating the card, then. It's worth contacting support.
