Windows 7 Home Premium Non-Genuine?

Question
-
Recently my Windows 7 Home Premium installation has been determined to be non-genuine. I suspect I am a victim of a MSDN Technet license sale scam. Can anyone confirm or offer another explanation?

Windows Product ID: 00359-232-7936235-86367
The product ID -232- Indicates a not for resale MSDN account. If you are not the account holder and you purchased this in a retail box, the box and it's contents are counterfeit. Demand an immediate refund from the seller

An unfortunate diagnosis. Sadly, I fear I'll never hear from the company I purchased from again.
Thank you for your time and your very prompt response.
