I have a Vista Validation Issue RRS feed

  • I read the thread on the same issue I have. I have a validation problem with Windows Vista. I have not had my Gateway serviced or added any new software or hardware. When I turned on my computer today 2/19/2010 it was giving me problems. No internet, could not print and finally it gave me a message about an invalid software problem.
    I went to the Microsoft website to see if I could find any solutions. I stumbled onto this thread of many people having the same problem as me and decided to follow the recomendations by the moderator.
    I followed the suggestions in the thread by downloading WGAPlugInstall.exe. Next I downloaded OGAPlugInstall.exe. I even installed legitcheck.hta. I am still getting the same answer, validation problem.
    I am at my wits end and ready to take a hammer to this thing.
    Is there any real answer on how to fix this problem? I cannot afford to reinstall all my programs as this is a Union computer and all the Union financial and personel records are on here.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • In order for us to analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool. 

    After running the tool, click on the Continue button, then click on the Copy button, then Paste the report into your post.  Also, please include a brief question or pertinent background information that would be helpful in our endeavor to assist you.
