2003 Office XP Small Business Saying it is not activated RRS feed

  • Question

  • I ran the Genuine Advantage diagnostic, here is the report.  Clearly, I have a genuine copy of this software, which was already installed on my Dell computer when I purchased it WAY back in 2003.  I have been using the Office software uneventfully until about a month ago, when I received the same message that has been posted many times on this forum, that my software is not activated.  My main concern is that at some point I am going to be locked out of the software, when in fact I have a genuine copy.  I am looking at the Certificate of Authenticy as we speak, and as you can see from the attached report, it is a genuine installation.  Also, when I click on Help in Excel, for examply, and then click on Activate Product, it comes back and tells me it is already activated.  Please give me an easy to understand fix for this, I don't want to be locked out of using my legitimate software!
