    Download and run the utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum.

     

     

    Step 2 is tell us about the COA. Tell us:
    1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center?
    2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
    3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
    4. DO NOT post the Product Key.
    5. Please also provide a short description of the issue you are experiencing.

            Your original post was closed out because you posted on 31 July 2007. Please post back sooner or the link will be closed. Previously you indicated, "Working for a company where 32 computers are running under Genuine OS." How does your company license all the systems which are currently running on the network? Does each system have a separate license with a certificate of authenticity (COA) sticker or do you have a Volume Licensing Key which was purchased through Microsoft?  Next have you performed the MGA Diagnostic Test on each and every system and read the reports for yourself to verify all systems are genuine? This is very import for the companies systems administrator for ensuring each and every system is genuine as well as maintaining licensing keys/all paperwork for network.

Diagnostic results help our team in determining the root cause of your issue.  Next, I can see right away what the issue is and why you are not passing validation.  Unfortunately, the product key used to install MS Office Suite is a Volume License Key (VLK) that has been blocked per the request of the legal VLK holder.  As a rule, VLK editions of either an Operating System and/or Office should not be sold to individual consumers. Businesses, schools and governments normally use VLK editions for flexibility in installing many computers. Also, Volume Licenses for Windows XP and MS Office are Upgrade licenses ONLY and cannot be used as the original or base license for a new computer.  Also please review the Validation Advisor for further guidance at:  https://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/ValidationHelp.aspx .

    Please can you provide me with where the purchase was made? Next do you have a phone number, email address, and website of where you purchased the software?  Please provide me with any and all information about where the purchase was made.

    Respected Sir,

     

    please don't take it personally, either there is some mistake the way you read the matter or i wrote please read below :

     

    yes now we have more than 40 computers deputed different locations all of them are running well fine and good as their Operating System as needed are genuine purchased from Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and how do we know if some are having Windows 98/98SE, Windows 2000 etc in India that to from different different small scale software engineer or IT companies. rest I cannnot define you location of each and every computer and its user working on it.

     

    My labtop is almost 2 and half yrs old and all i remember that i purchased MS Windows Xp Home edition

    Yes i've the valid CD, but not the key of the OS i've in my labtop

    I've the address and cell no. too which i can provide u untill next we chat

     

    The Issue is so; that the users, people, me tooo are still not aware of VLK or Registration because it is not evrytime we need internet, we simply go to cyber shops or pick up our cel phone devices, pen drives and who knows that where when how Virus is landing to us in what manner into our PC.

     

    i dont have any sticker or ne thin ... if u want ne code written on CD... i'll work on it and be in touch with you Atleast this is for sure that my name and address shall be registered. Else Its like we are counting stars in sky up above.

     

    It is you who made me realize of piracy and I'm writing mails.  You can give me options, i went through evry scan, detection, link you gave me and stay protected.

     

    Enormous Web sites, pop-ups, one mistaken click here options, messengers, hackers, cookies, softwares, spywares its a different world. A simple business man like me who is not evryday a part of it is the TARGET and the VICTIM. 

     

    Another regarding the MS Office, I'm NOW yet to take actions over the same bu un-installing it and prevent Piracy

     

    Provide me your cell no.. i'll call you, if you are genuine as a person in company, i shall be glad and i  trust microsoft that my case will be justified and solved ..
