Data/File Backup Policy? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I am considering using Office Live for my work files (I travel extensively and would like to access/update my files on different computers), however I am concerned about the integrity of the system fro the access of my files.

I've been looking everywhere to find a policy statement or plan that you've put in place to make sure that all files submitted are properly backed up and maintained in case of some kind of a system failure.....as we all are supposed to do on our own personal computers.....but I can't find any information on this anywhere.

Do you guys guarantee (or at least attempt to honor a policy) the availability/storage of files saved on your systems?

If I put my heart and soul into creating my lectures and problem sets for my students.....do I have to be concerned with making sure I personally back up everything in case it disappears from your system?

I'm sure that lots of people would want to know the answer to this....
