What are the formats the Online photo Bakup can use? RRS feed

    I just noticed something the Photo Online Bakup doesn't bakup .Bmp files like the ones Microsoft flight sim X screen caps.  

    Anyone know the Complete file formats that can be backed up.

     

    .Jpg a given but can .Gif animated .gif or .Bmp Any others ?

     

    I also think if were going to be paying for a Photo bakup service it better be able to bakup all photo formats.

    Ofcourse the raw formats will also be part of the online photo backup.

    Currently most of the digital cameras generate JPEG file or propritory raw format(not bmp and gif). The following formats are supported for online photo backup,

    CMT, CR2, CRW, FPX, IMG, J6I, JFIF, JPE, JPEG, JPG, K25, KDC, KQP, NEF, MRW, PCD, PEF, RAF, RAW, DNG, JPG2, JP2, J62

    I'm thinking it is only jpg as photos typically aren't going to be GIFs or BMPs. However, I wonder about raw formats which many high end cameras can save photos as.
