Working trace of Ocs Asterisk? RRS feed

  • I don't know where i am doing wrong, i once got ring in my telephone which is in our Asterisk PBX system, dialing the extension from communicator but there was no voice. I didn't keep any trace at that time and now i don't even get ring.

    Can any one please send an working trace of ocs to Asterisk to my email address "sunilmunikar AT hotmail DOT com", so that i can compare my not working trace to find out where i am doing wrong. Posting the trace in the forum might not be possible.

  • Are you using a mediation server to connect OCS to your legacy PBX system?

  • Yes, i am using a mediation server to connect OCS to PBX (Asterisk in this case). I have only one nic card installed in my mediation server, i hope this isn't the problem. Anyhow, i am trying to build other mediation server with 2 nic card.

    OC => OCS => MeS => Openser => Asterisk

  • Try to use 2 NICs as this is best practice

    You could however start Debug sessions to look at SIP messages that flow into your Mediation server
