  • Hello colroy31,

Uninstall the old nongenuine Office using Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.  Restart.

Install the new Genuine Office 2007 H&S.  Restart.

Visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click Validate Office.  Restart.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/default.aspx? and run the online diagnostic.  You should get a clean report.  If not, follow the instructions to correct any issues, or repost here.

After that, visit Microsoft Updates to get the Service Packs and updates for your new Office.
